My Students
Students at my school are inquisitive, compassionate, and creative. My students are curious about how the world works, and I try to foster that curiosity with project-based curriculum, and hands-on learning experiences. They come from a variety of different backgrounds all over the Bay Area. It's a wide mix of young people that fosters a diverse community of learning. I have the incredible privilege of not just teaching my students important content, but developing their care for others both locally and globally.
I really believe their experience in my classroom deeply grows and molds their character in profound ways as they move towards adulthood.
It is something I'm immensely grateful for and don't take for granted!
My Project
Help us kick-start our new Student Leadership Lounge with the items in this project! This project will allow my Leadership students to create warm and welcoming posters as we ring in the new school year!
After a year of Distance Learning we need all the help we can get to revive our school spirit!
Because Leadership is a zero period class, students may not complete their art projects before heading off to first period, the mobile student work cart will allow students to place their unfinished projects neatly in their individual bin until they have time to work on them again. A clean and organized work environment is an effective work environment! The sharpies, markers and colored pencils will allow beautiful, creative poster to be created which will help spread school spirit throughout our school. The self-development books will be the first in our new classroom library, available for anyone looking to build good habits and break bad ones.
