My Students
I am excited to be part of a brand new school. We are starting our second year as a building and team. The focus of the new school is to deliver a dual language, project based learning program.
In our inaugural year, we were able to develop some amazing PBL units that integrated with the local community.
I am hoping to move students even deeper into our PBL by bridging our student cultures with technology and team projects!
We have had an amazing year developing a strong student culture and our kids are primed for some amazing teamwork and project building. These fourth graders are so full of potential and I am excited to partner with you to unlock even more of their incredible abilities!
My Project
Our students are incredibly excited to work in virtual reality and build augments reality googles. Our goal is to help our community historical society build and develop 21st century exhibits that highlight community heroes from our past. Students will record, write, and publish biographies and augmented reality posters in our town museum.
Having an iPad Pro will help me lead students through Virtual Reality tours of our geographical mountain valley as well as exemplify work that they will also do on the iPad.
This tool will also help us better understand how to implement coding and developing virtual reality tools that best demonstrates the blend of history and technology.
