My Students

Students here represent a wide variety of cultures, ethnic groups, orientations, religions, and genders. The entire campus has over 600 students from various neighborhoods.

These kids are going through a lot of mental stress and anxiety, these are volatile times and many kids are experiencing trauma.

We're focusing on SEL and a PBIS system that helps all community members. Our middle school has many academic programs to choose from that help students with academics, leadership, and growth mindset skills. Students are continuously looking for ways to break away from the norms, to learn and experience new things.

What I love most about offering students these resources is seeing how motivated they are to learn and complete projects.

My Project

Leadership is an important part of a school wide community. This year has it's own special challenges, and reuniting a school community is one of them. Leadership students would like to make color flyers and posters throughout the school year for clubs, festivals and activities. We've got our first one, the Fall Festival, coming up soon!

Leadership students would love a color printer they can use to print flyers and pamphlets for student and parent activities, events, or just FYIs.

There are so many great ideas these kids have to bring some excitement and joy back to our community now that we're back on campus. They're ready for some fun.
