This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are 1st and 2nd-grade students learning in a self-contained setting. Some students are English Language Learners and are from single-parent families. Each day they are faced with challenges both in and out of school, but our goal is to stay positive and rise to the challenge.

My students are a diverse group of learners who try their best.

I strive to make my classroom a safe place for all my students, where their creativity and independence as learners are fostered daily. I hope to meet all the needs of my students through creating a safe, creative, language-rich, and exciting classroom where my students develop a true love for learning.

My Project

The LCD writing tablets will be used in the classroom in every subject. Students will use them to practice writing letters, words, and sentences. They will also use them to write numbers, addition and subtraction problems. These tablets can be used throughout the day for a variety of activities. They will be used in all academic centers. My students will absolutely love using these tablets because they are fun and colorful. They are durable and lightweight and can easily be sent home if remote learning is needed. I cannot wait for my students to use these!
