This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I am privileged to teach forty-five outstanding students. My students are very inquisitive, creative, and extremely clever. We are a Title I school where over 60% of the population receives free or reduced-price lunch. Even though some of my students we affected by Hurricane Harvey and lost everything, they are still excited and enthused about learning.
Our school is very culturally diverse, we are extremely competitive and we strive for excellence daily.
Willing, ready and always trying to stand out above the rest, we need to produce competitive scholars for the future. We are shining stars and would love to shine with or above the rest.
My Project
I have found that technology most definitely increases motivation, interest, and learning in my classroom. LCD writing tablets are another form of technology to expose to the students. This will allow students to get immediate feedback on work and make the correction without paper and erasers. Some examples of using the writing tablet in the classroom are warm-ups, competitions, computations, and exit tickets.
My scholars are always solving problems and the LCD writing tablets are a way to do this paperless and save some trees in the process.
After use the of the LCD writing tablets the students will know exactly where to house them in the storage containers.
