I teach Living Environment(required for graduation and college)in a very diverse, high needs, urban high school.
For one of my Living Environment classes, I am required to travel to another classroom from the one in which I have my LCD set up.
The other classroom I work out of doesn't have a LCD projector and there isn't time in between classes to take down and reset the LCD. Being able to use a LCD projector for students is very important for learning. For example, many students struggle with the concept of the cell and its structures and functions. Being able to access online interactive websites about the cell, such as cellsalive, really enhances learning.
A LCD cart would make it possible for both of my classrooms to share the technology that I have in one room.
