Lay Me Down to Sleep: Bedding Essentials for Senior Boys

My Project
Each year, we have senior students who do not have appropriate sheets and bedding at home, much less for when they go off to college or independent living. Some senior students already live independently and work nearly full-time to pay rent and utilities while still in high school. This project will provide 16 senior boys with one sheet set and one comforter.
Good, clean bedding is important to my student's physical and emotional health: a good night's sleep is important to the school and work success; self-esteem and emotional well-being are damaged by stained bedding in shared dorm settings; and sleeping on bare mattresses is just not sanitary.
This project will give 16 of my school's most struggling male students clean bedding to use now and to take with them when they leave home for college or work after graduation.
