My Project

I am the School Resource Officer at B. High School and love teaching my students! My focus at the High School is three-fold; as an educator, mentor, and safety officer. As a prior educator, I believe building solid relationships with the staff and students is truly the main way to keep my campus safe! I am able to accomplish in the classroom teaching law related education to help build responsible and knowledgeable citizens for the future.

Just like regular teachers, funding is limited for supplies for the classroom to help me as a School Resource Officer teach great lessons.

My focus on campus is to work with and develop our freshman, so the next four years are amazing for them. After dealing with the coronavirus and online school during the pandemic, our students, especially the freshman regressed and lack some basic social skills to assist them in their future. This is what I try to help them with by giving them the information to make good choices.

The supplies I am requesting will assist me in teaching the 9th graders, but also integrate my lessons into a variety of disciplines on the school campus. Last year, I taught lessons on; theft in the art room, dealing with aggression and hostility, domestic violence in the family for the Spanish class, brain research and marijuana use in the psychology class, and the chemical make up of vapes for chemistry. So as you can see, I am able to effect positive change throughout our campus of 1800 students and this is why any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
