Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The items that I am requesting will help my students with their creativity. They will be able to create unique works of art. While creating these unique works of art they will be able to build friendships with their peers, learn their colors, build their fine motor skills, encourage unique conversations, and learn how to clean up after themselves.

The students will learn how to build, organize, and create projects that spark their interest in learning.

They will also learn self-help skills and how to work together as a team. Therefore building respect and a classroom family atmosphere. My goals for these supplies are to provide my students with opportunities to laugh, learn, and have fun in my classroom. I want my students to feel like they are in a second home in my classroom.

My students are special because they come from low-income homes. And they are very eager to learn. They really try hard when they are working on given assignments. And they are very respectful and they take pride in themselves and our classroom.
