This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Hello everyone! I am a 4th grade math teacher in the heart of Springfield. The area has such a diverse community of wonderful people. Each and every student brings something unique to our school.

The materials requested for this project will help give my students a brighter and more diverse experience in the classroom.

The markers and crayons will be used to make beautiful arts and crafts. We are a school that uses laptops for a big portion of the class, all tests and assessments are done on a laptop and the headphones will ensure every student can focus on what’s in front of them without hearing everyone else’s laptop going at the same time. The Spanish books will be for our students who only speak Spanish and won’t feel left out during library time. My students are very appreciative for anything that will make their time at school more enjoyable and make them feel included!
