This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are more than where they come from or where they live. My students have more potential than I ever imagined my classroom would have.

They are dreamers, they are team players, they are hard working and more than any of those, they are inspiring.

Many of my students have hardworking parents who work late and many siblings to take care of before they even start to think about taking care of themselves. They are talented and motivated but just need a little more support to reach their full potential.

My Project

I’d love to be able to use this camera to snap photos of students in school or e learning and be able to send them home with the kids. Instant memories that they can bring home or have at home when they have been isolated for so long. I’d love to go around to classrooms that have brick and mortar learning going on and send photos to e learning students of things going on in class. I think this will let the kids feel connected even though we cannot all be face to face this year.
