My Students
My students are the future. They are changemakers. As their teacher, it is my responsibility to have them engage with texts that will grow their love for reading. After all, when my students have a good book in their hands, nothing can stop them from reading!

They are multifaceted. My classroom is made up of future authors, poets, doctors, designers, and leaders in training. They deserve access to texts that will inspire them.

My Project
Your donation will fund a class set of the YA novel "All American Boys" alongside flashcards to promote their critical reading throughout this novel study unit.
I wish to hone my student's love for reading by giving them access to texts that have relevance in their lives.
I aim to provide them with the tools and resources necessary to learn, grow, and pursue their interests through literacy in the fulfillment of their fullest potential.
As a first-year educator, I feel lucky, humbled, and grateful to be the English teacher to this wonderful seventh-grade class. Their imaginations are active and swirling with the capacity to imagine real solutions to contemporary problems.
