My Project

What I love most about my students is their boundless curiosity and their eagerness to explore new worlds. Many of them come from backgrounds where they may not have access to a wide variety of books, and that often makes them hesitant to pick up a book in the first place. The Last Kids on Earth graphic novels are the perfect resource to engage them. These books are filled with adventure, humor, and relatable characters, all of which make reading feel less like a task and more like an exciting journey.

Each book in the series will help my students develop critical reading skills in a fun and approachable way.

The engaging illustrations paired with a fast-paced narrative will help reluctant readers build reading stamina while increasing their comprehension and vocabulary. Beyond just the technical skills, these books promote important themes such as teamwork, resilience, and friendship—values that are crucial for their social and emotional growth. Thanks to your support, my students will have the opportunity to dive into stories that excite their imaginations and encourage them to become lifelong readers.
