My Project

I have some amazing 6th graders that are about to be promoted to middle school in about a month. They have worked hard all year to learn a lot of new academic and social skills that will help them in their middle and high school years. We have a lot of newcomers that have just joined our school too in the last few months.

We are needing just a few more items to help us finish off the school year.

We are out of notebook paper to complete end of the year assignments and projects. We need a new laminator and laminating sheets to help protect our activities for multi-year use. We are needing candy items to help keep our students motivated to work hard in these last few weeks, especially our newcomers who speak little English but have to take end of the year exams in English. It's hard having to explain that we cannot help them in their native language but just to do their best, so we try to motivate them with small incentives to try their best.
