My students need 4 sets of poster-sized post-it easel pad lined paper that we can easily hang up around the room to share our insights after group work.

My Students
Sharing information with each other is crucial to student learning. What does it take? One thing is poster paper so we can put our information on the walls gallery style.
Our school is diverse, urban, and has a high rate of poverty.
Many students speak English as a second language. Others face traumas inherent in growing up in poverty. We are making great strides toward closing the achievement gap and challenging all learners because as a school we have high expectations for everyone, provide as many wrap-around services as we can, and teach hard.
My Project
One activity that really grabs student attention is group work where students at different tables are responsible for researching different topics and writing the information on post-it easel pad . Then we can put up the information all around the room, and students can go from poster to poster, learning from their peers.
Students need a variety of activities to make learning stimulating.
Activities require supplies. Our school has no extra money to provide for these. Neuroscience tells us that novelty and high interest are crucial to retaining knowledge. Help me provide an excellent activity for my students.
More than half of students from low‑income households
