Large Screen Monitor and Supplies for Visually Impaired
My students need a large screen computer monitor, Ott lamps for better lighting in the classroom, and a magnifier to help view print.
My students are eager to learn. They often struggle to "fit in".
I want my students to have the resources they need in their classrooms so that they can participate along with their peers.
My students are in different grades and different skill levels.
They are blind or visually impaired and require extra support and equipment at school. They are funny and they love to learn, some are learning braille and other are learning about technology that can help them see better.
My students will be able to use a large screen computer monitor to view magnified print on the computer, it's difficult to do this with the small computer monitors they have in their classrooms. They will be able to use the magnifier to help them read small print. They will be able to use the lamps to help them see better in the classroom when the teachers turn the lights off. They will be able to use the learning clocks to learn to tell time.
These donations will help my students to participate with their peers in their classrooms more independently.
They will learn how to use equipment that will help them see better. My students would be very grateful for these donations.
