Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our school library is starting a section for large print books. These have been shown to help reluctant readers since the larger font keeps them moving along and turning pages faster in addition to helping them see the words better.
Another new thing in the library is the makerspace which is going to help students express their creativity in the library.
Fuse beads are highly popular at the moment and allow students to create all kinds of shapes and artistic items. The 3D pens are another popular craft item that helps students visualize and plan things in a three-dimensional system.
