This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Our school is a Title I school that resides in the Miami-Dade County Public School District and has a strong sense of community. The students at our school are potential life long learners and must be prepared for academics and projects that incorporate 21st-century skills. Our school is now a Kindergarten through 8th-grade center. The students in my class are phenomenal students and love to learn. They strive for excellence and I would like to equip them with the necessary tools to be successful.
My Project
As the year began, I was assigned a new teaching assignment. Teaching fourth-grade has been amazing. I want to provide my students with the necessary tools to be successful. By obtaining laptops, my students will be able to participate in groups more effectively, utilize our flexible seating while working on a laptop, and become familiar with a laptop platform. My students strive to be the best they can. I want to equip them with tools and skills that they will be able to transfer over to new projects in the future. Overall, I want to prepare them as best as possible for what is to come.
