Laptops for Literacy

My students need just a few more chrome books in order to help them learn, and cut down on the numbers of them that are currently sharing laptops.

Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Middle School students are often making the best out of very tough situations. Materials and activities provided at school make a world of difference for them and their education. They are hard working, and are extremely eager to continue to learn and improve. Most of them dream of going on to good high schools and colleges, and have dreams of becoming every type of profession from a professional athlete to a real-estate developer or a Navy chef.

Being able to bring in more supplies for the students will greatly increase what we are able to do in class.

My projects here on Donor's Choose are going to go towards helping these students achieve, get on grade level, and have more opportunities than they would have before.

After the great success from my last project, I’m so excited to bring those second, identical project to Donor’s Choose!

Honestly, having these extra laptops allows my students more one-in-one time with this technology, and will seriously help them achieve in school.

My students are so excited about the first project getting funded, and I’d love to be able to add just that little bit more excitement to their school days!

There are so many great programs online for students to use in order to increase their literacy skills and writing skills. These also help students interact with technology in ways that they normally would not have access to.
