My Students

My students are fifth graders who attend a school in a south Louisiana rural area. We have well-behaved students, a very eager staff, and a supportive administration. Our school has a large percentage of students receiving free/reduced lunch.

My dream for them is to be able to envision themselves beyond our small town.

My students are always eager to learn and ready to learn and incorporate new technology. Your donations will prepare my students for the demands of future technology.

My Project

My students need a laptop to make interaction of lessons more mobile and to actively engage in the learning process. Integration with technology is so important for learning to take place. My students will be able to complete more computer based activities and enhance their learning. I would be able to incorporate the laptop into small groups for extra practice in Reading and Social Studies. Any donation would greatly affect my students.

This laptop will help differentiate my lessons according to my students' needs.

They love technology and this would get them more excited about learning. I'm hoping this new tool will allow them to better integrate technology into their daily work.
