My Students

My students are energetic and full of curiosity.
Their wonder and ability to ask great questions are what inspire me each day. 4th grade students crave challenging work and are willing to go out of their comfort zone to extend their learning experiences within the classroom and/or at home while completing research projects.
My Project
Our school has already equipped our team of teachers with a class set of HP Chromebooks. The laptops have brought technology and resources to our students' fingertips that was not as easily accessible. We provide students tasks and resources using google classroom.
However, these laptops are hard to maintain efficiently without a proper charging station. Sharing the 27 laptops among four teachers is a challenge in itself without a mobile charging station to maintain the battery life throughout the week. The charging station will make it easier to utilize the computers more frequently and fairly among our classrooms.
Through a charging station we can make the technology more accessible within our classrooms and expose students to the plethora of information that can be obtained through technology.
