My Students

My students are mostly English Language Learners. They are new to the country and are trying hard to adjust to their new life. It is important that they feel welcomed, accepted, and part of the community. Providing them with materials and resources that can help them acquire a new language and adapt to the culture is very important in order for them to be successful. My students are my shining stars, please help them shine as bright as they can be!

My Project

The use of my interactive Promethean boards is literally an all day tool. It is used in all workshops including reading, writing, math, social studies, and science. It allows me to display pictures, model writing and problem solving, and allows the students to draw or write on it. This laptop will be used to create lessons, show videos and models to the students, and keep in touch with my class parents and my school community.

The old laptop crashed and it needs replacing so that I may continue teaching the way I need to in order to help my students flourish.
