Laptop for Learning in a Pre-K Classroom!

Help me give my students a laptop so that we can all learn properly online.

My Project

Learning online is hard enough. Imagine learning online without seeing your teacher! That is the dilemma that I am currently facing. When schools closed abruptly in NYC, I was sent packing with a laptop from school that was easily 10 years old. Unfortunately, the camera doesn't work, so my students are not able to see me while I am teaching. I am forced to teach them only through screen sharing. Even though schools are now open, my classroom has been quarantined three times last year. Furthermore, we will need to learn remotely on snow days as well. We need a proper laptop to continue learning efficiently at home.

In my head, there are so many other things my students can learn when they get to see me.

With the new laptop, my students will finally be able to see my face during remote learning. I haven't been able to read any storybooks to my students since the camera on my current laptop doesn't work. With this new laptop, I will be able to do fingerplays, read books, and sing songs, just to name a few!
