My Project
Help me give my students access to a laptop that will help them edit video documentaries and create podcasts in class. Most of my students are visual learners, and thrive with project-based learning tasks. I would like to be able to begin to grow a station with state of the art technology that will have the necessary programs to facilitate documentary creation for future History Fair projects on civic and social issues that are culturally relevant to all identities.
This device will also be used to project on multiple screens lessons and resources for small group instruction and video lessons.
Students will also use this laptop to connect to the classroom printer for printing purposes. Students will use this technology as they learn about a variety of issues including engineering, financial literacy, social science, women's history, Indigenous history, African-American history, Hispanic history, LGBTQ issues and rights, human rights, social emotional learning, Asian-American history, identity and racial representation, special education supports, Chinese Lunar New Year, English Language learning for my refugee and immigrant students, and much more!
