This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I teach Kindergarten at a Title I school. The majority of our students are on free or reduced lunch and come from low socioeconomic backgrounds. A high percentage of the students in my class are ESOL as well as some students with special needs.
My students come from diverse backgrounds and I love to foster their uniqueness.
They all bring something special to our classroom. They have limited resources at home, and my goal is to provide them the resources needed to succeed.
My Project
This Mac Book Air laptop will help my students focus during math, reading and centers because it will make learning fun. My students feel as though they are playing games when they are actually learning and that makes all the difference! Many of the intervention programs that my students receive are computer-based; having a MacBook laptop in my classroom will help to deliver those interventions and give my students access to online books, research and educational games. With the Apple MacBook, it will be easy to work with students in an interactive way. It will be greatly appreciated if you will help bring joy and happiness by donating to my hardworking and fun-loving students.
