it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As Margaret E. Sangster said, " No one should teach who is not in love with teaching." I am a RSP Teacher at CES in West Contra Costa Unified School. My TK-6th students are wonderful and motivated learners who not just enjoy learning but values them.
Around the school campus, we promote inclusion and influence motivation and love of learning.
My Project
My classroom is composed of students from varied grade levels and with varied learning needs. They are grouped according to their academic level and are provided with small group instruction assigned to three learning centers.
Each student in my classroom is special in his/her own way, and it can be challenging to modify my learning plan to fit the need of every student.
Fortunately, through the use of technology and computers, I am able to customize my lessons to accommodate my students' learning demands. During my small group discussion, this laptop will be used to connect to the projector for interactive presentations and lesson discussions. This will surely create a more engaged environment and better learning outcome. For the learning centers, this laptop will be stationed in one of the centers where students can work independently. In this laptop, they can access the different online interactive programs such as Khan Academy, Moby Max, Raz Kids, etc. They can read and listen to read-aloud books, practice online sight words, improve their writing and typing skills, engage in online math exercises and problem solving, etc. This will enhance their independence and critical thinking skills.
This laptop is a great tool to incorporate classroom curriculum that prepares and trains them to be independent learners and critical thinkers.
