The Academy for Business and Finance is a three-year high school program.
We are California Partnership Academy that collaborates with business members, alumni, Regional Occupation programs and the Department of Education to develop the new generation of entrepreneurs and create the best community San Leandro has to offer.
We currently run a student store, have an entertainment group, beautify the school, have networks with businesses, and alumni, run internships and mentoring programs, apparel group, have philanthropic projects and much more.
We are the entrepreneurial leaders of the future.
50% or more of our students fulfill a California Department of Education at-risk criteria.
Our Business Academy Students have access to computers at school; however, we are doing many more events where our students are presenting to the public.
Students are participating in business plans for school and they are competing in national and international Business plans for DECA (Distributive Education Clubs of America) and NFTE (Network for Teaching Entrepenurship).
In order to do so many of our students need access to a computer to be able to plan and present their plans.
We have had success and with the proper tools students will certainly perform to their potential and will compete at the highest level.
