Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My group of preschoolers are amazing! The majority of my students are four years old and are familiar with a school setting. They work well together, take turns, and are excited to try new learning experiences. Both boys and girls enjoy working all the centers in the classroom. They have quickly captured what it means to follow rules, be kind to one another, and be good listeners.
Each day, my students surprise me with their creativity and willingness to help each other and demonstrate kindness as well.
They enjoy all that the school has to offer from recess to music class.
My Project
Young children are not always given mice to use with laptops at home, touch screen devices are more appealing to most children. However, my classroom was given two laptops to use and they need mice to operate and rechargeable batteries to work. With your donation and kind generosity, my students will be able to practice multiple skills from fine motor to literacy and math skills via websites that are age appropriate. My students will be able to use the laptop during Center time and I am looking forward to helping them practice eye- hand coordination that will not only be useful in preschool, but also in Kindergarten because our school Technology Lab uses desktops and mice. Please help prepare students for learning basic computer skills.
