My Students

Ten lively, energetic and endearing kindergarten to 5th-graders are back for in-person learning! This class is for students who learn differently and benefit from an individualized approach to school.

My classroom is a safe second home for special learners to learn reading, writing, math, science, social, and life skills.

Differences are not deficits. Students are empowered and encouraged. Thank you for considering impacting this unique and deserving community.

My Project

Our 3rd, 4th and 5th-grade students have laptops this year. They use their laptops to read and answer questions about leveled stories, complete individualized math assignments, and of course watch videos at Choice Time!

Laptops covers will keep our new devices safe and make it easier to tell them apart.

This way teachers don't have to worry as much about devices being dropped. We can give students more freedom to move around with their devices knowing they'll be safe from scratches and bumps. Students can take their covered laptops home if they need to quarantine or if the whole class/school returns to remote learning.

I also requested a copy of "Death is Stupid" by Angela Higgenbottom. I always like to keep an extra copy to give out in case someone experiences a loss. Thank you, donors!
