My Students

My students attend school in a high poverty school district. Most of my students qualify for either free or reduced price school lunches. Despite their challenges they are motivated and eager to learn!

I work hard to provide a nurturing environment with hands-on, engaging activities for each of my students.

They are great kids, and they deserve to have the very best, just like any other students. They deserve ever opportunity to learn. With your help we can definitely give it to them. Thank you for your help!!

My Project

In my classroom, we work in small groups every day. I would like to use individual white boards with the students so they can express themselves and I can check for their understanding. Using the white boards saves on paper and is more motivating for many of the students.The supply center will give the lapboards a home that the children will be able to easily access.

At a high poverty school, many of the students cannot afford the necessary supplies.

The students will use the white boards daily as we are always working on letter sounds and word building. We will be able to use dry erase markers as well as magnetic letters on the lapboards. The items I have asked for will help in our daily routine. Thank you for your support!!!
