This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Traditional desks do not work for every student and can limit learning. Lap desks give students a transportable option compared to traditional desks. Students can complete assignments away from their current workspace if needed and move throughout the classroom, onto the carpet, in the hallway, outside, wherever learning occurs.
School environments should be comfortable spaces to learn and grow.
A lap desk will not only help that effort but will free learning from being tied to one location. Thank you so much for considering the needs of my early learners.
