My Project

Students in our classroom enter with varying levels of language and writing skills dependent on what they have worked on or taken interest in at home. In an effort to establish a basic foundation for language and communication, our classroom works to encourage students at every level to improve their language skills.

For students who need more assistance or who are younger, starting with curves and zig-zags will help build toward writing letters while students who have mastered their writing grip, may need more help in now identifying their letters in lower and uppercase.

The students who are ready to move on to sight words can use the magnetic board to begin spelling and reading which will put them well into kindergarten standards once they advance to the next grade.
