Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Schofield's Scholars are a group of passionate, thoughtful, and hard-working English language learners that I have the honor of working with each and every day. This group of students consists largely of Latin American immigrants that are working hard to develop their English skills.
Both inside and outside the classroom, these students impress me each day with their wit, motivation, and tenacity.
We've made great academic progress so far this year and look forward to even more in the future!
My Project
When learning a language, visuals are essential. From pictures of vocabulary to grammar lessons to instructional videos, the visuals provided by this projector and screen will help my students truly see the language and become fluent English speakers.
By helping to equip my students with the visuals necessary for effective language acquisition, this project will improve lessons so that they provide the best possible instruction for my students.
