My Project

I teach young PreK students who are learning English. My students come from many different countries, so building vocabulary through play is a great way to learn English. Young children learn through play, so having materials they can manipulate is a fun way to learn.

Storytelling kits are a great way to develop language skills as well as pre reading skills in young children.

Children love to act out stories, with these materials, students will have a chance to retell stories as well as create their own. Language develops with repeated exposures to the same concepts and these kits give children that opportunity.

I am looking forward to seeing the creativity of my students when they tell stories, laugh with peers and try to create the silliest story. Amazing language skills will be developing, all through play.
