This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Help support my students develop their language skills through reading and writing activities. These tools will help provide my speech therapy students with appropriate reading materials, engaging writing activities, and appropriate visual supports to help them express themselves and communicate more effectively with others. A focus on social emotional learning is also going to be incorporated, as many of my students are also working on recognizing emotions, social skills, and expressing their feelings appropriately. My students range from Pre-K to 5th grade and I am looking for materials that will be beneficial to supporting the needs of both my younger and older age groups!
