Help me give my students interactive texts, activities and resources to help them learn language! These resources will provide my students with visual support and interactive activities to practice language skills and new vocabulary.

My Project

My students all come from a variety of different countries and they are just beginning to learn English. Because they are so new to the country and language, my goal is to interactively engage them in the language learning process. Visuals and pictures and engaging activities are key components to helping students learn a new language. The vocabulary photo cards will give my students visual examples of new key vocabulary words that we are learning. The chart post-it paper will enable us as a class to create visuals to help us learn that can and then be posted around the room for reference. The books selected for this project are stories supported with illustrations and stories that the students will be able to connect with. The different games and activities provide students with a fun way to practice vocabulary and new concepts with plenty of visual support.
