My students need a bike to get around campus! Every year we raffle off college goodies for our Seniors. The Senior who shows up on Decision Day with the most school spirit wins a bike!

LTCP is a selective enrollment high school located in the heart of the city of Chicago. We are ranked the #6 high school in the state. Lane Tech attracts students from all over the city, from just about every neighborhood in Chicago. We have a very diverse population with over 4,000 academically talented students and 40 different languages spoken in the home.
Our students are extremely bright, self-driven, and conscious.
It is no surprise that we currently have 23 active sports and over 75 student led clubs. Our students are involved and eager to contribute to the school community. Some of our students have been locally and nationally recognized for their inventions, leadership, and academic achievements.
I can't explain the awesomeness of our student body, the kids are amazing. What I can say is that Lane students respect one another and embrace each other's similarities just as much as they embrace their differences, and that is what makes Lane Tech students special.
Counselors coordinate a carnival themed event each year to recognize our seniors who commit to a school. 87% of our Seniors enroll in a 4 year college, so College Decision Day is a big deal at LTCP. Invited students must meet certain guidelines and provide proof of their commitment.
54% of our students are eligible for free/reduced lunch and could use some extra help with college supplies.
During the event we raffle off tons of college goodies (dorm room items) and the grand prize is given to the student who shows the most school spirit. The grand prize has been a bike for the past few years. The creativity is getting better each year so we're hoping to have two bikes this time around.
With the help of the grand prizes (bikes), we'll be able to afford dorm goodies for more students. We would like to raffle off as many prizes as possible for our hard working and deserving students.
