This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My school has a very old laminator, that only really works when it wants to. We spend more time trying to fix it, and keep if working, than we do actually using it. It over heats, and it seems to always wrap your items around the rollers. Our students come from low income families, and deserve to have things look nice both in the classroom and to take home. Each year I like to have my students make Name Tags at the beginning of the year, and I laminate the, and they get to take them home on the last day. They stay nice when the lamination stays on the paper. Posters and items we use to teach seem to have parts pealing off with our current laminator. It would be so nice to be able to laminate them and have them last a couple years.
