My Students

My students are the most caring, unique, and energetic students you will meet. All of my students are diagnosed with different disabilities, and many of them are English Language Learners (ELL) as well. They come from low-income families and receive free school breakfast and lunch. Despite all this, they are filled with curiosity and are always eager to learn. The students in my class love to engage in fun activities, especially those that are hands-on.

My Project

My students all have different learning styles and often need individualized resources. With the laminating machine and pouches I am requesting, I will be able to preserve any materials that I create for them.

Some materials worth preserving would be checklists, anchor charts, vibrant visuals, games, math tools, activities, or any work/projects that students are proud of!

For my students with Autism, I would be able to laminate a daily flow and to-do lists. A quick, inexpensive dry erase board can also be created with the laminating machine and pouches. Once laminated, all of these materials can be used over and over again, and the best part is that they can easily be cleaned with a disinfectant wipe to stop the spread of germs. The laminated materials can also be utilized at home so students can reinforce their learning.
