My classroom is a fun and safe space where my students can be themselves, at the same time take risks and learn to be independent. My class comprises of twelve students with disabilities. Some of these disabilities include intellectual disabilities, speech/language impairments, emotional disturbance, autism, and other health impairments. Most of my students are English Language Learners (ELL) and come from a Latino/Hispanic background. They are the most caring, unique, and energetic students you will meet. They are filled with curiosity and are always eager to learn. They love to engage in fun activities, especially those that are hands-on.
