Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have several new learning games that I want students to use in my classroom. I am afraid to let them use the materials because they are not laminated. Students curl, bend, and rip any materials they are using...they are kids and they just can't help but do that. If the materials are laminated, students can use them for many years to come! Also, laminating materials will allow them to be properly sanitized between uses so that my students can stay healthy.
In economics, there is an opportunity for the students to play a modified game of Monopoly, the pouches would be used to laminate all of the money, chance cards, and property cards.
This would help preserve the game for years to come!
