This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students at our elementary school truly take on the meaning of our school mascot: heroes. They are heroes because they worked hard and accomplished so much despite the pandemic! They logged on, learned, and did everything they were supposed to do despite technical issues, minimal supplies, and not having their teachers in the same room! Now, we're returning stronger and smarter than ever! We did not let any obstacle or any pandemic get in our way!

Our heroes have returned to school stronger and smarter than ever, ready to work, learn, and have fun!

Heroes are not only smart, but they are respectful and caring people! Heroes are also problem solvers, lifelong learners, and give meaning to the word heroes.

My Project

Our students would love to have a laminating machine to help them preserve their hard work when they create charts, chants, art, etc. They spend a lot of time and effort creating science charts such as the life cycles, math chants, and even some artwork. In order to help students preserve their hard work and efforts, a schoolwide laminating machine would make keeping students' work last longer. Additionally, when students create special holiday projects for their families, these special keepsakes can last a lot longer, too.

Our school needs a laminating machine to help students laminate their hard work when creating science charts, math chants & charts, and their art.

Having a laminating machine would make us all laminating machines!
