This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
Hello everyone, I am a teacher in a Title I and Title 3 school in Queens, NY. I teach 5th grade, special education. Even though I only have 13 students, their needs are very important.
My students need technology to explore all of the academics within the 5th grade curriculum.
My students are hardworking students like everyone else, however, they all have special accommodations to better their learning.
Some students are meant to learn in a sitting position, some students are meant to learn in small groups, while others need to stand while learning. Please help my student learn the best way he can learn! Wouldn't you like to learn this way if you were given the chance?
My Project
I always want to create a laminated file folder so that I can make hands on activities based on the curriculum being taught! By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand, and not whether their materials are going to work or not.
Plus in this technology literate world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
