Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom laminating sheets and velcro are my life. My students are autistic kindergarten students and like any child, they can be rough with their materials. When I laminate I can breathe easy knowing the kids will be rough with their materials but that the materials will last anyways.
I use these materials for token boards, task boxes, sight words, as a way to practice letter formation.
I also create social stories and visuals to support students with anything they may be struggling with.
I also create a chart with student pictures so they move their pictures when they are in school and another chart with student pictures so they can move their pictures when they go to their related services.
