This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am asking for a thermal laminate machine and laminating pouches for my classroom so that I can better preserve materials that I print for my students and/or create with my students. My school has an old outdated laminating machine that often runs of laminating material for months at a time. I would like to be able to laminate vocabulary cards or works that students have created to better preserve them in the moment. My students like to hold vocabulary word cards in their hands when we are discussing them, but they tend to fidget and rip them.
Being able to laminate materials will allow them to be preserved longer and reused with more frequency!
