Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every year, I am extremely lucky to work with a group of hard-working and kind fourth graders. Most of my students are English learners, newcomer students who have not had the opportunity to attend school in their native countries, and scholars with varying skills and learning styles. This project will positively impact all these students.
With your support, this year I would like to laminate and protect my students' work with the laminating machine/pouches, as well as use the plastic sheet protectors and two-pocket folders to sort, maintain, and protect student work by content areas such as math, writing, or science; also, the Post-it easel pads will help me create and sort many anchor charts by specific content that my students will use to review and reinforce skills learned throughout the year.
My current teacher bags have seeing better days and need replacement; hence, the two teacher bags will help me carry my students and teacher work from my classroom to home comfortably, and they will last me for a few years!
