This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My athletic scholars are students at an urban inner-city school. We strive to provide high quality education and athletic activities to students from all walks of life. Fulfilling goals set by them for them helps my scholars learn the importance of teamwork, competitiveness, accountability and responsibility. Our mission is to unlock the potential of athletic ability — by giving these athletic scholars the opportunity to compete and participate and to enjoy Indiana High School Sports, and be inspired by it. Playing sports and engaging in extracurricular activities play an important part in one's character/personality development. One develops management skills, negotiation skills, communication skills, convincing skills, conflict management and confidence. We are in need of equipment and supplies to be able to participate in IHSAA. Any help will greatly be appreciated. Thank you in advance
My Project
For this upcoming season, we are in need of supplies. During this pandemic a lot of our students have been deeply impacted. We are in need of support for our athletic scholars to have the proper equipment to participate and compete in IHSAA Varsity Softball.
We are in need of gloves, cleats, batting gloves, faceguards that will assist in this upcoming season.
These items will allow us to play and participate in practices and games with the correct resources. This will help the future of the program as we look to sustain and obtain a successful varsity women's program
