This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Last year was our first year being allowed safely back into the gym and to offer the opportunity for our scholars to join in the fun of sports! The Lady Cougars worked incredibly hard learning new skills and techniques and were recognized by referees, other coaches, parents from both our own team and others, for their impressive improvement from the start of the season. The girls were dedicated not only in the gym, but in the classroom, too. Please help us have a successful volleyball season, starting with the much-needed travel bags! Our school is considered Title I and items such sports bags are not considered top priority for students who may struggle to have meals every day. Providing these items will give my players the confidence they need to win championships.
