Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

On several occasions, my students have come to me to ask for a laptop computer to complete the work that I assigned to them. On those occasions, their assigned devices were not properly working, yet they are goal oriented students and wish to complete their assignments and receive a good grade. As a teacher, I can't penalize them for not turning in their assignments, because obviously, it was not their fault. After pondering the challenge, I came to the conclusion that I ought to have a working device and make it available for students to use it whenever they need one. At our school, we have several computer programs that we use for interventions. My students will be able to use this laptop to access these programs and further their education.
