Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are imaginative, hard-workers, and curious about the world. They do however, struggle with learning to read and this struggle impacts and/or will impact their access to the world around them.
A path that is clearly marked, is much easier to follow!
Organization and clarity within my students' classroom environment and lessons will have a positive effect on their reading abilities. Because their learning must be well-planned, hands-on, and in sequential order based on skills that they master, a label maker with label tapes of various colors will help to keep me and my students organized and on track to reading success!!
The materials that you provide will help us clearly label student materials, lessons, and activities. Not to mention, because my instruction is guided by data and student performance, labeling materials, files, and information accordingly will help with data analysis and lesson planning. All of these things will help ensure my students become strong readers who are able to access the world around them! And for that, I thank you in advance for your generous donations!
